We lived on the island for almost 3 weeks. The island is a bit more than 10 km (13 approx.) north of the African Mainland. As you have stated the island is paradise for birds. Mostly the birds are located on the south side of the island. I believe the island should be protected as a national park.<br /><br />Please let me know if you decide to map an island from Turkey and need any help.
