Thoughts - Solomon Islands, A Geologic Timebomb!

Solomon Islands 8.0 Earthquake
An 8.0 earthquake is bad enough, but to live on the edge of a diving tectonic plate that is continually moving is rough. I know. San Diego is not diving, but it is sliding north. The area that underwent the 8.0 earthquake with the resulting tsunami is a geologic timebomb. And it went off!
The image shows the 8.0 epicenter plotted on the left panel. The right panel shows 5.0 earthquakes and above. This is a very active earthquake area. An 8.0 earthquake will happen again in the region.
